Newell Coach Air System Leaks: Installing New Compressor Governor

What happens here

Locate the air compressor governor, typically found near the engine. Visually inspect the governor and surrounding components for signs of leaks. The creator sprays soapy water onto the old governor and observes bubbles forming around the gasket surface and bolts, confirming it is a source of air leakage.

Goal: Confirm leaks from the engine air compressor governor.

Tools and materials

  • Engine Air Compressor Governor — The component being inspected

noticed this now so we got going on here got some stuff uh this is actually for a separate project apple maps took me down a dirt road somewhere in bfe oklahoma and it was so bumpy that it rattled the bolts out of my exhaust hanger and my exhaust fell off and it broke the flex pipe this comes with plugs a new gasket pretty straightforward it would go on like uh that that's how we're looking at it so two bolt holes here that are leaking air those actually run through to the pump body so that makes sense that they would leak if this gasket itself is not working anymore and it's leaking down here so this is pretty pretty simple
