MY NEW SHOP (Official Shop Tour)

What happens here

The presenter showcases a dedicated outdoor area next to the garage, featuring a utility table used for messy tasks such as painting and cleaning tools. This area provides privacy and excellent natural lighting due to surrounding trees, which also helps prevent paint from drying too quickly. The setup includes sawhorses for supporting items to be painted and a sprayer. The future plan is to add a utility sink for easy washing of hands and tools, further optimizing the cleaning process and reducing 'Motion' waste. This area effectively contains messy operations, preventing contamination of the main shop (Shine) and allowing for better ventilation.

Goal: An outdoor area equipped with a utility table serves as a dedicated space for messy tasks like painting and cleaning tools, leveraging natural light and preventing workshop contamination, thus eliminating waste (Muda of Defects/Cleanup) and enhancing environmental conditions.

going to get in the way so the casters again save the day once again now this is actually a really helpful part of the garage setup reason why is number one i have my own privacy here there's no windows here but this is like almost like a universal miscellaneous area of doing anything you want but for the most part i use it for painting so what i'll do is i'll bring whatever i need put it on saw horses and then i'll use my respirator and my hdlp sprayer or whatever i'm using to paint the cabinets out here fortunately enough these trees give me plenty of coverage so i don't have that harsh sun that's going to dry off the paint way too quickly and it makes it really nice for filming it's almost like a diffused lighting scenario but yeah as you can see there's plenty of areas that i'm washing all the paint brushes and i'm cleaning up a lot of stuff an area to be messy it's really helpful if i was to do one thing different and i probably will i have a faucet over there but what i want to do is maybe under this you know roof lining i want to maybe put one of those like a utility sinks just a plastic utility thing so i could actually wash my hands and wash the tools and that's have to be hunched over by the faucet like a like i'm thirsty or something moving right along here uh this is a cabinet that was used in our house before we did the demo work on it i just took the doors off and just keeping all of the chemicals all the stains and paints in here i don't think this is the right setup anybody should have the idea of the cabinet is great but i think what's probably a safer bet is to get a chemical metal uh safety cabinet that if in case something catches on fire it's not going to burn your house down so the the the chemically safe kept out what are they called i don't know anywho you
