MY NEW SHOP (Official Shop Tour)

What happens here

The remaining two-car garage space is a multi-purpose zone that needs to accommodate both vehicles and various shop storage. The presenter's 'Mona Lisa' is a system of heavy-duty black curtains (sourced from Amazon) that effectively conceal shelving units. This provides 'Visual Management' by hiding clutter when not in use, maintaining a clean aesthetic for the rest of the garage. Behind the curtains, sturdy shelving units (from Home Depot) are organized by category (e.g., paint supplies, drywall materials, plumbing, electrical, tech gear, family recreational items like camping and fishing equipment). This categorical organization adheres to 'Set in Order' and 'Standardization', making items easy to locate. This flexible setup allows for a seamless transition between a functional workshop and a vehicle parking area, embodying adaptability in a shared space.

Goal: The two-car garage space is effectively segmented by heavy-duty curtains, creating a flexible work/storage area that can be quickly concealed to maintain a tidy appearance or opened to accommodate vehicles. This reflects excellent 'Visual Management', 'Space Utilization', and 'Flexibility' principles.
