Most people have no idea what actually makes up a credit score. Let's get after it. First one, makes up 10% of your credit score. You don't need a bunch of store credit cards because they offer you 10% of that one-time purchase when you're at Home Depot. Just one credit card, get it over with. The next 10% is credit mix. Don't think you need to go out and buy a new truck, you need to go buy a new ATV, you have to have that payment. Absolutely not. It's only 10% of your credit score, just get one credit card and pay it off. 15% of your credit score is length of credit history. Just let time do its thing. That's it. Just let time compound, do its thing, just like investing. Anyways, let's move on. Now we're getting down to your last two big ones, credit utilization. Let's say your total overall spending limit is a thousand dollars. Keep it under 10% of that. Keep it under a hundred. You can go up to 30, that is fine, but banks like to see under 10. So, if you have a thousand dollar max limit, keep it under a hundred. Let's move on. And the biggest thing that makes up your credit score, payment history. Just don't pay your bills late. When they're due, they're due. So, there you have it. Pay your bills on time, keep your balances low, and let time do the work. It's Monday, I got stuff to do. I'll catch you guys later. Peace.
