Mold In Front Loading Washing Machine!

all right folks here's the scenario I was going to run the washing machine this morning when I got up to do a deep clean of the wash machine manufacturer recommends every 40 loads I feel like it's a good thing it's starting to look a little ragged again and said hey well let's just pop some this OxiClean wash machine cleaner in there and get it clean well I was just giving it a once-over and I noticed inside the drawer where the soap goes that's starting to look a little gnarly right around in there there a little bit right there I'm gonna show you how to pull that drawer out clean that all up put it back together and then I'll finally get to do what I was intending to do this morning in cleaning my washing machine so come along let's get to fixing [Music] okay we're in front of my washing machine this is a Samsung VR T plus alright so we pop this open and we zoom in a little bit you can see right down in there starting to see a little bit of mold appearing right around in there there a little bit right there so this whole little drawer right here will actually come out to remove that there's a little push tab back here just to pop that off and so we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna just get this whole thing cleaned up let's take it to the kitchen sink okay so we're running some water we put a little we put a little dish soap in there and now we're gonna let this fill up a little bit and we're gonna clean this whole thing so pop this piece out pop this piece out that comes out we just got to get a screwdriver a little pot a knife action see that right there just got a little tab on it this whole little thing pops out and look at that underneath there that's all it's kind of nasty everywhere [Music] we're gonna scroll the whole thing down call me crazy but I don't like cleaning my dishes with the same thing I'm about ready to scrub a bunch of mold with [Music] so we're setting this stuff on a towel we're gonna let it dry actually while we're cleaning the washing machine portion of this area fight crime with grime like get in there give it some elbow grease it's the only thing that really is going to take it off but you can see like it all looks really well now okay so you can see there's all kinds of nastiness back here in the back and up on this roof right here take the Clorox wipe and I'm just gonna wipe all this stuff off we just don't want to get it to the point where it's super bad right all right so it looks way better you can see that all that stuff back there is gone now everything here is looking a lot better so we've got all this dried up ready to reassemble see you have to be able to access these little tabs right here so you just take this stick this right in here clips in place then we will take some free wash clips that in place like that it's like a little jigsaw puzzle so that goes back together like that this piece goes back on top of there like so this piece just sits down in there with the max on top this is for liquid only if you're gonna use powder you just remove that tray right you're gonna take this right here slide it into this slot ma'am we're back in business so we put that in we're finally ready to run our wash machine cleaner all right a little bit of soapy water some elbow grease and a Clorox disinfected wide and that little cavity plus the drawer itself is looking real good it's just a quick little push button you're able to inject that drawer out of there I'm sure it's different on some other models but it's still you're still gonna be able to pull that out which i think is awesome clean that thing you you're cleaning your clothes you don't want to clean your clothes in something dirty just I don't know it doesn't make sense to me that's I never knew how dirty washy could be until I started getting the you tube and it's dirty so now I finally can get back to my original purpose of cleaning my washing machine with this oxy wash machine cleaner I do it once every 40 loads it really is good stuff works out very well get to smelling fresh and gets a lot of grime out of the machine I really hope this video helps if you please subscribe to the channel click the like button it'd be greatly appreciated I will put a link for the video and the link for the OxiClean wash machine cleaner in the description box below thank you very much and have a great day
