Massive “click” at the end 💪 #flooring #homeimprovement #diy

What happens here

Once the long edge of the plank is securely locked, focus on the short end. The video demonstrates using a pull bar, which is ideal for planks that are closer to a wall or when a tight pull is needed to close the gap at the end. Place the hooked end of the pull bar against the exposed short end of the plank, gripping the edge. Position a hammer or rubber mallet against the other end of the pull bar. Gently tap the pull bar with the hammer, moving the plank horizontally until its short end clicks tightly into the groove of the previously installed plank, ensuring no gaps. This action is repeated multiple times throughout the video.

Goal: Ensure the short-side locking mechanism of a flooring plank is fully engaged.

Tools and materials
