Lay Out Drop Cloths

What happens here

With the paper masking complete, lay out two canvas drop cloths on the floor. One drop cloth should be positioned along the wall you are actively painting to catch any drips or splatters. The second drop cloth is essential to place your paint pan and roller tray on, preventing spills directly onto the floor. This also eliminates the need to drag a paint-laden pan across the carpet, minimizing mess. It is recommended to use 4ft x 12ft runners to easily move along the wall being painted, potentially laying it over the taped paper on the carpet for maximum coverage.
