Makita, Milwaukee, Ego and Dewalts BEST battery Chainsaws VS Gas

What happens here

With the gas saw ready and all chains sharpened, the various chainsaws are put to the test. The Makita cordless chainsaw (after sharpening) is tested against the Makita gas chainsaw. The EGO chainsaw (after sharpening) then goes head-to-head with the gas saw. Next, the Milwaukee chainsaw's cutting performance is compared. Finally, the DeWalt chainsaw (with its Oregon 16-inch bar) is tested against the Makita gas saw. Each comparison involves side-by-side cutting through the same log to evaluate speed, power, and chip production. Observations are made regarding chain sharpness, battery life, and overall performance during the cuts.

Goal: Evaluate the cutting performance of each chainsaw model.

alright boys I know it's not safe but I wanted to do the absolute most head-to-head chainsaw video an awesomely good this [Music] bad read out of that one all right let's see how that ego does [Music] so now as I'm watching this I'm looking at the chips at each one of these chainsaws is picking out and it looks like the gas pilot is turning out almost like just like particles where the Eagle battery power it's getting big fat crispy chips now you guys tell me I think that means that the Eagle chain is sharper than the Cheetahs at that point I'm also noticing that the battery gauge in the Eagle looks like it's almost dead which will affect its performance and it didn't see that so and I'd say the eagle was this close one yet it's chained is pretty it's in pretty rough shape too you can see there's no edge on some of these they're just flat [Music] now I don't know what's going on with the Milwaukee out in the field this thing usually performs pretty well but during this test it just doesn't seem to be living up to that reputation that Milwaukee tools usually have [Applause] [Music] I know why she died mid-stroke okay so this file is 1/32 of an inch too big for the smaller chains and what happens is well the file will actually start kind of biting into the links on the chain you can kind of see a little bit right there because what can happen is it will just start taking more out of the link that can cause a weak link and eventually could possibly lead to the chain snapping which is a very undesirable effect [Music] - Walter Sam's face I think I'm liking it I don't know I'm not sure that battery lasted like six cuts on here so we'll see now oh holy Nike too bad they don't make that one anymore really no that's the DeWalt 40 vault right yeah holy crap alright you guys well we didn't expect the results that we got the DeWalt
