Prepare and Position Initial Tape Section

So I take my tape, I'm gonna tack it down center where I want it, and I like to run, run some about a foot, a foot and a half, and I pull it out, pull my tape tight, and not really tight, but kind of taught, and that way I can move it back and forth and line it up exactly where I want. I like my tape about a 16th of the bench onto the base board, so that way if you step away from the wall, your line looks straight if it's even crooked a little bit on the base board. If you're onto the wall and it's slightly crooked and you step back, you'll be able to see that really easily.
