lil front bed mod
What happens here
With the plan in hand, begin the demolition phase by removing all existing plants, shrubs, and any old landscape edging or ground cover from the front yard planting bed. Use a shovel to dig out plant roots, ensuring as much of the root ball as possible is removed. For larger shrubs, use pruning shears or loppers to cut them down into manageable pieces before digging them out. Transport all removed vegetation and debris to a designated compost pile, green waste bin, or other disposal area using a wheelbarrow. Finish by using a rake to clear smaller debris and roughly level the soil surface.
Goal: Clear the planting bed of all previous vegetation and debris
