What happens here

Following your design plan, reshape the planting bed to create a new, straight edge along the sidewalk. Use stakes and a string line to mark the new, precise line. Dig out any excess soil or add new soil as necessary to achieve the desired contour and level. Once the new edge is established, prepare for the paver border installation. Excavate a shallow trench along the marked line, ensuring it's wide enough for your chosen pavers. Lay down and compact a base layer of paver base material (e.g., crushed gravel) using a tamper or plate compactor. Spread a thin layer of paver sand over the compacted base, then carefully set the landscape edging pavers in place. Use a level to ensure they are even and a rubber mallet to firmly seat them. Fill the joints with additional sand and sweep it in.

Goal: Create a defined, straight edge for the planting bed with a paver border
