Leak From Bottom Of Garbage Disposal

What happens here

From underneath the sink, use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the three screws on the mounting assembly. This will relieve the tension. Next, use the tip of the screwdriver to carefully pry the metal snap ring out of its groove. Once the snap ring is removed, the entire mounting assembly will come apart. From above the sink, pull out the old sink flange.

Goal: Completely remove the old sink flange and all mounting hardware

So you've got three screws right here. It's counterclockwise and all three of these. These older style screws are going to be flat heads. Get your flat head underneath here. And you're going to want to pop this ring right here down. This will pop off. That'll pop down. And this pops up. This is a good reason to change this out. It was not leaking from here.
