From under the sink, slide the fiber gasket, then the metal backup flange, and finally the mounting ring over the bottom of the sink flange. Hold these in place and install the snap ring into the groove on the flange to secure the assembly. Hand-tighten the three screws, then use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten them evenly until the mounting assembly is snug against the bottom of the sink.

Goal: Securely attach the mounting hardware to the new sink flange
