Water and Maintain Grass

What happens here

After seeding, water the entire permeable driveway thoroughly but gently to avoid washing away the seeds. Continue to water regularly (daily or every other day, depending on weather) until the grass germinates and establishes itself. Avoid heavy vehicle traffic until the grass is well-rooted and robust, typically several weeks or months. Once established, maintain the grass by regular watering, occasional fertilization, and mowing to a height that allows the pavers to remain visible and functional. Periodically check the permeability by observing how quickly water drains after rainfall; if puddling occurs, the cells may need to be aerated or refilled with fresh growing medium.
