Kitchen Makeover + PLUMBING ON CONCRETE (Ep.2)

What happens here

The existing drain access valve is cut off using a reciprocating saw and replaced with a new system. Black ABS pipes (valencia pipe is seen) are used for the drain lines. The pipes are cut to size using a circular saw and test-fitted into the newly built wooden frame. Connections are made using various ABS fittings like P-traps and elbows. For solvent welding, the surfaces to be joined are cleaned, and a liberal amount of ABS adhesive cement (which doesn't require primer) is applied to both the pipe and the fitting. The pipe is then inserted into the fitting with a slight twist to ensure even spread of the cement and held firmly until initial set. This process creates a strong, leak-proof connection.

Goal: ABS drain pipes are cut, test-fitted into the wooden frame, and then permanently joined using ABS adhesive cement (solvent welding).
