Stud Wall and Flooring Removal

Kitchen Makeover + DEMO DAY (Ep.1)
What happens here
After all utilities are safely disconnected and labeled, proceed with the removal of any remaining wooden stud walls. Use a reciprocating saw to cut the studs, starting from the top plates and working downwards to the base plates. Ensure that no active electrical wires or plumbing lines are still attached or embedded within the studs before cutting. Remove the stud pieces and dispose of them. Finally, use a pry bar and hammer to systematically remove the floor tiles. Work in sections, breaking the tiles as needed and prying them up from the subfloor. Collect all tile and mortar debris for proper disposal, leaving a clean subfloor for the next phase of renovation.
Goal: Demolish any remaining stud walls and remove floor tiles to fully clear the area for the new kitchen layout.
