What happens here
The video shows the entire counter surface being illuminated by recessed lights, creating both task lighting and ambiance. This can be achieved using small, flush-mounted puck lights or slim LED light bars integrated directly into the countertop material. If using puck lights, use a hole saw with appropriate depth stops to drill precise openings in the countertop at your pre-planned intervals. For integrating LED light bars, a shallow channel might need to be routed into the countertop material. Carefully insert the lighting fixtures into these openings, ensuring a snug and perfectly flush fit with the surface. Route the associated low-voltage wiring discreetly underneath the countertop, securing it with adhesive clips or clamps, and connect it to the main low-voltage wiring system. Ensure all connections made directly under the countertop are within waterproof enclosures or thoroughly sealed to protect against moisture, spills, and humidity.
Goal: Provide direct illumination to the outdoor kitchen's countertop.
