What happens here

While the power strip remains fully submerged and actively powering the light bulb, the presenter takes a pair of metal tweezers (referred to as a 'toenail picker' by the narrator) and deliberately inserts them into one of the open, live sockets of the power strip. Despite the direct contact between the metal object and the live electrical contacts underwater, there is no spark, short circuit, or indication of electrical hazard. The light bulb continues to glow, demonstrating the power strip's ability to prevent electrical incidents under extreme, hazardous conditions. The presenter reiterates that it is 'totally safe'.

Goal: To further prove the safety features, the presenter inserts a metal object into an active, submerged power strip socket without causing a short circuit or electric shock.
