It's PURPLE! You Won't believe what we ran on the Sawmill today!
What happens here
Before starting the sawmilling process, the Wood-Mizer LT40 sawmill needs to be properly prepared. This involves checking the oil level of the 38-horsepower Kohler Command Pro engine, which powers the mill. After ensuring the oil level is sufficient, the operator lubricates the rails of the sawmill using automatic transmission fluid (ATF). The ATF is also applied to the rollers to ensure smooth movement of the saw head. The lubricant helps the blade run smoothly and prevents sticking.
Goal: Ensure the sawmill is ready for operation through lubrication and checks.
