It's PURPLE! You Won't believe what we ran on the Sawmill today!

What happens here

The logs are carefully rolled onto the sawmill's bed using a cant hook (also referred to as a "log ox" or "timber jack"). The cant hook helps to maneuver the heavy logs into the correct position for milling. Once a log is positioned, it is securely clamped to the sawmill bed. The log shown is a large Eastern Red Cedar, approximately 22 inches in diameter.

Goal: Position logs securely on the sawmill for cutting.
