I Made Fake Beams in Our Bedroom

What happens here

After fabricating all U-shaped faux beams, install them by fitting them over the previously installed 2x6 base plates on the ceiling. Secure them with a brad nailer. If there are any gaps where the angled beams meet the straight beams due to measurement discrepancies, create small mitered 'caps' from scrap wood and attach them with the brad nailer to fill the spaces. This provides a decorative finish to conceal any imperfections. For the central beam that accommodates the ceiling fan, carefully slide it over the fan support system and secure it. Finally, attach the new ceiling fan to its newly supported electrical box.

Goal: Mount all fabricated faux beams onto the ceiling and install the new ceiling fan.
