Construct Shaker Doors

What happens here

Cut wood pieces to create the rail and stile frames for the shaker-style doors. Use a table saw to create dado cuts or a router table to create grooves that will house the central panel. For the central panel, cut fluted/reeding paneling to size. Assemble the door frames by applying wood glue to the joints and securing them with screws or pocket holes. Insert the fluted paneling into the grooves before final assembly of the frame. Ensure the doors are square and flat.

Goal: Build shaker-style cabinet doors using cut wood for frames and fluted paneling for the inserts, then assemble with glue and fasteners.
