Raise Deck and Access Blades

What happens here

Engage the hydraulic lift system of the Ventrac mower to raise the mower deck to an upright position. This unique feature allows easy access to the blades without dismounting the entire deck. Locate and disengage the belt tensioner, which is typically an arm or lever that releases pressure on the belts driving the blades. Once the belts are loose, identify and remove the two small pins and one large pin that secure the mower deck in place. With the pins removed, carefully lower the deck using the hydraulic controls, exposing the underside of the mower and the blades.

Goal: Safely elevate the mower deck and gain access to the damaged blade.
