The neighbor drama continues ...more silliness

hey folks welcome to the farm blog today we're up here at the land that we've been clearing over the last couple days and it's turned out absolutely fabulous we'll look right quick so we're all cleaned up we're ready to go we're ready to start putting some grass seed down we'll go ahead and go over this with the landscape rake again Ricky Bobby will clean this all up will smooth it all out and we will throw grass seed on it this is a live stream guys this is Tuesday night normally I do a Wednesday night livestream but tonight we're gonna give away some super clean we're gonna give it away just for fun tonight just to celebrate the goofiness of the neighbor ha there's neighbor drama continuing so this is really really gonna turn out to be an absolutely beautiful lot right here this is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of Oh 3/4 of an acre maybe 1/2 acre or something like that and backed up to 20 acres of beautiful forest the option we had here and we're probably gonna hang on to this for a little while longer before we get rid of it Brandon Gleason $20 super chat for grass seed hold man thank you so much this is probably going to take Oh somewhere in the neighborhood of $300 with the grass seed something like that and probably twelve hours of work something like that and a lot of straw so we'll put straw out a lot of traffic out today it is even time folks are coming home from work and that's what you're seeing a little bit of traffic out here so let's talk about the silliness that continues the saga of the silliness now the neighbor here has put a table with the giant smiley face on it so this this is what's going on this is we're not gonna park here nobody's working here anymore I'm on my property now I'm on my land but my neighbor has put dumped a chair the table with the big giant smiley face on it maybe it's a peace offering maybe it's like a peace offering what do you guys think it's pretty funny I just want to give you guys a quick update on what was going on the the neighbor situation here I've been working all day long I've been running the ventrac tractor all day long today I put I know eight hours on it we had Farm Credit come out to the farm today and do an interview with us which is very very flattering I want to thank the folks at Farm Credit they're doing a video and we're preparing some honey bottles for them some little honey bears to take to Washington DC to advocate for Farm Credit to lobbyists and stuff like that so pretty cool we're actually gonna have product from our farm taken to the Library of Congress and passed out to Congress folks pretty neat I guess it's lobbyists or Congress folks I'm not exactly sure Donald thank you for the super chat buddy and someone else just left a super chat wanna thank you so much Steven Crawford thank you so much and guys again I want to tell you you don't have to leave these super chats I really appreciate it got some grass seed to put down for sure it all helps out it all helps to build the farm that's what this is all about anyway this isn't about drama and the neighbor thing but I thought I would update you on it because it's absolutely ridiculously silly just look back there let's get a little say museum that's what's going on on the Stoney Ridge farm I think maybe he's trying to make peace what do you guys think most made a comment down there let me know what you think it me and mrs. Stoney Ridge are gonna go fix up some pork chops tonight I'm tired I'm hot I'm sunburned a little bit I've been wearing sunblock but there's nothing else I could do I've been out in the Sun all day long beautiful beautiful day here in North Carolina the Sun is starting to set and this is what the land looks like we'll give you some more land updates because the excavator and the loader crew is going to be out here for probably three to four maybe five more days and we're clearing up some spots that really looked like a mess today the power company was out and they were moving the power lines just a busy busy busy busy time here on the farm so couldn't have had a busier and couldn't had a funner day and the smiley face just puts a smile on my face guys thanks a lot I appreciate it you think he's mocking me I've got a care for him to mock me Robert malice thank you so much for that $20 super chat buddy I really really really appreciate it let's walk out here a little bit so not a lot of topsoil left right here but as we put grass seed down and we could pretty much put grass seed directly on this and just let the rain hit it and let it freeze and thaw over the next season and the grass seed would hit it would do really well we make sense some clover with that grass seed and that'll help to make it hit also in other words instead of putting nitrogen-rich fertilizer on it we put clover on there inoculated clover and the inoculated clover will help to pull the nitrogen to the soil and make it grow pretty awesome we'll show you how we do this how we plant grass in how we establish grass on a bare lot in a future video guys thanks a lot I hope you have a wonderful night we'll see you next time put a smile on your face have a happy face do you think I think he's trying to make peace I think he's trying to make peace guys what do you think post me a comment down there we'll see you next time on the Stoney Ridge
