Farm Chores: Water Tank and Fuel Management
At 3:50 in
I BROKE THE SAWMILL...AND THE TRUCK!
What happens here
While preparing for milling, other farm chores are completed. This includes using an ATV to visit cattle and manage their water supply. A smaller 100-gallon water tank is replaced with a larger 160-gallon tank to provide more water for the curious cows. A DeWalt drill pump attached to a cordless drill is used to drain the existing water from the tank, which is then filled with fresh water. Additionally, fuel for the various engines on the farm needs to be replenished. The primary truck used for hauling runs out of gas, and another truck (a 1999 Dodge truck which subsequently blows a brake line) must be used to retrieve non-ethanol gasoline from a gas station. Techron fuel additive is added to the mill's fuel tank to ensure smooth engine operation.
Goal: Perform essential farm maintenance tasks.
