I bought a Simple plug and Play salter by Boss 4K

What happens here

Cameron explains the electrical installation for the in-cab controller. The main power and ground wires run directly from the truck's primary battery (always connect to the primary side for safety and power stability) through a 125A or 175A fuse. This main power line then runs along the cowl or frame to the firewall, where it connects to the controller inside the cab. A separate ignition source wire needs to be tapped so the controller turns on and off with the vehicle's ignition. Another wire runs from the controller back to the spreader unit itself. The controller is designed to be easily moved and mounted in different locations within the cab.

Goal: Properly wire and mount the in-cab controller for the salt spreader.

I just want to ask Cameron how did you hook this up if you could just describe it for us camera so super simple uh Bost has it kind of laid out to where even if you really don't know what you're doing you'll be able to figure it out pretty easy okay so you got your main power ground you're just going to bring that right over to your battery primary side whenever you're hooking it up you want to make sure you always go to your primary side they give you a nice believe 125 or 175 amp fuse that you can just throw throw in there for your main power okay that just runs right along you can either run it along the uh the cob there your grill up underneath along your frame whatever you'd like whatever is best for your vehicle okay there's just one plug here four wire plug run that right through your firewall plug get right into your controller there super simple on that one so you basically just go right from the battery one wire through the firewall for your controller and then one wire to the back to the unit and that's it and you just just about you you do have a couple little things that you got to figure out kind of on yourself so there is a a key source so you need some type of an IGN ignition source so your controller turns on when you turn the ignition on so that is one thing you do need to do up front um relatively super simple depending on your model of vehicle it's either going to be Tapp into an upfitter um blunt CTS and or U but a guy that has any kind of
