I bought a Cheap Knock-Off loader for plowing snow! *(but it'd be great for farm work)

I don't know you know that sometimes you can get a severe case of the stupid [Music] no noosphere motor no the Bulbul what new truck two new trucks third trucks back at my house and a new payloader I had nothing to do with them in green grass it's January and I'm not freezing my boat here right now where was this thing tenure I heard here's the thing you guys my new pay loader cost me as much as that kid loader that's why I'm so excited I would have stopped running skid loaders years ago had a case full size payload and I paid over a hundred grand for it and I got paid the exact same rate for that case pay loader is I'm gonna get paid for this one and we wrecked too tired I was over 1,500 bucks yet for snow removal I can charge almost like she be ugly but I like the money she's gonna make me then I mix her room pretty doctor she's not the prettiest alright guys I bought a cheap knockoff loader and I freaking love it the only problem is I wish it was around 10 years ago because I would have probably bought about 4 or 5 of these things and today we're gonna take a good close look at this why I bought a cheap knockoff loader who actually backs this thing which is the key why I bought it because there's a company that you guys know that back these things and once I found out who backed him I'm like give it to me just boom done and we're gonna be looking at how that my little baby loader can make me as much money as that big boy loader right next to it and put a lot more money in my pocket at the end of the season so what are we waiting for let's start movin crap loading these are the guys I bought this from and these are the guys they're gonna answer a few of my questions and hopefully a few of yours so SD LG the name brand it's not something that a lot of people are familiar with can you tell me a little bit about that I mean SD LG is a Volvo sister company for lack of a better term it's a in order to to bring the machines into the United States bubble is a is a partner with SD LG so it's not a mobile company itself it's a Volvo own nailing a portion of it so we want a portion of it all right and that's why I bought that that is the whole point because I bet inside the Volvo factory you can eat off the fehb you've been inside the Volvo factory you can eat up the floors in there okay I've never seen a cleaner manufacturing process in my life and I know the quality that Volvo puts into it and so SD LG didn't mean anything to me it meant some kind of a foreign type of thing I mean honestly guys that's what I thought up I thought this was like some gray iron knockoff from some foreign land right yep no it is it is represented by the Volvo dealer network so the majority if not all Volvo dealers are and SDLT dealer as well so parts availability services support come out of the Volvo dealer network in the United States and Bulbul wouldn't back something if it wasn't quality yes they're not me because when because when Volvo has to put their name on it if this piece of thing goes to if this goes to crap it makes Volvo look bad right my box the name SD LG to me it by itself too sketchy I mean when it boiled right down to it guys I was thinking cheap right I mean am i right or wrong and cheap doesn't mean bad in this case what cheap basically means is it's got the bubble quality but it doesn't have the Volvo bells and whistles I don't need bells and whistles to make a living I don't need them I don't need 50 knobs that don't actually make my payload or work any better but just makes it look cooler why are you laughing again not all right you guys I always let everybody else have fun in the equipment so I can hold camera and make sure that I can get all the scene set for you guys it's my turn to play let's do this thing this is gonna be awesome [Music] so this is a mechanical drive so that means that you don't you got old-school technology but you don't have you don't have the speed of the new pay loaders when it comes right down to it guys if you're gonna be loading truck after truck after truck this is not going to be the machine for you because as I come into the pile so now I got power to both the bucket and the machine right now so to get the most power to the bucket I throw it in neutral hold my foot on the brake and then come forward and put it into gear I like it that's just kind of that's kind of equipment I grew up on you guys probably won't if you're not used to something like that it's pretty fluid when you know how to do it it come in put your foot on the brake cuz I'm lifting up switch out I can optimize my powers Adam already spilling bad Stan and machines have been fantastic we've got quite a few of the 19's we got we don't have as many of the large units all just because this is SD LG isn't a [Applause] is it a full-on high production loader but it's it's a good unit damn good bang for the buck you guys that's why I bought a cheap knockoff payloader vibrometer Scarlett because you can't get better quality yes better quality and a better bet I'm going on the record thank you thank you so here's some of the beautiful beautiful part 74 horsepower no DAF 74 horsepower fuel economy so many advantages 274 horsepower and in a loader Plus this payload er my baby payloader it's not a big payload er you guys I'm not going to argue I'm not gonna yeah it's not a big payload but it gets paid the same as a big payload er on a job it gets paid the same as the monster iron but look it I got little tires to replace I get I got a universal look at this bucket up front I got a universal quick attack system I can actually take this bucket off and I can use any bucket on any one of my skid loaders and replace it it doesn't use the big iron bucket a lot of advantages to this one engine and said Volvo owns and joints is a time-tested engine yeah they have some sort of partnership so both will actually owns a part of the Deutz engine family and this is an engine that's been around forever okay so we've got a battery box on the outside of the machine I'll be straight for I don't like that because batteries freeze up especially in the other side but it also makes it easy to get at to jumpstart this is your master disconnect for the for the battery itself so to fill the master power it's a matter of turning the turnin switch and turn it back live so when you're out of the machine it's always heard when you're gonna leave the machine it's always good to turn the master switch off okay so that there is no draw and seal on the machine itself we can padlock that so which one's the fuel filter primary secondary an engine engine oil filters right here and fill in the check for all the same place all right in the side pretty easy to get at it does kind of hand primer on so if you would it run our fuel or you'd have a feel gelling issue you can spin on new filters and prime it all up honey planet this one push it in and turn it go left and then comes out then assist again fall and then you can just hand pump this is your bleed when you're in colder cold conditions you got to know how to bleed in prime a pump assess them what filter is this this is your hydraulic tank right here so get your hydraulic site valve here so you don't have to be digging around looking for for that the hydraulic fills right here the it's a locked cap it's the engine machinery key okay and that will tell you I would open that and then that's your normal fill so the way to check it is just the way it sits with the with the bucket in the flat position on the ground it should be somewhere in the middle of this site glass if you look at one thing that still people do a nice job of as they rode all their grease fittings they route them all out where you can get at them where this one isn't tucked back in here where you have to crawl up or the top same thing with like right here with your rear axle trunnion and all that they route everything out so that it's how many hours before you I don't know you know that sometimes you can get a severe case of the stupid [Music] it just does have a universal quick fit skid-steer attachment bracket does have third hydraulic the boom kick out and the bucket returned a level sensor so it's got it does have some of the nicer you know operator features one nice thing it does up tried this brakes on it it wouldn't that be a big issue with rocks thing because it's exposed and yes we haven't had very many issues with the brake seat they don't they don't have is quite a long a life cycle as a wet disc brake I mean there's still a hydraulic disc brake just like on your truck yeah but they're just they're a little simpler to repair and a little simpler to with a nineteen popping it up on the top it keeps the debris flow in front to back come on sit back and you've got the caliper itself is designed to shut so you can see that the caliper is designed to shed soil off from its own so it's a dual stage we got a filter underneath their primary filter here the fitnah is an internal one as well this is the pores of cambiar okay that's all the cabinet rosin your transmission check in films right here jewel is here with lockable cap you have fuel level sight gauge along with fuel gauge on the dash the block heater for the machine plugs into the other side you talked about that earlier plugs into the other side right under this step of this court in Camp Court we recommend that you take the cord out when you unplug the machine otherwise people drive off and then you have to pour it over the tire what is it what's in that leg it's the other battery here oh dude oh okay never have any problem with them batteries freezing up you guys with the batteries whatsoever okay when you say no issues first off tell me your experience with the the SDL G series how long you guys been selling these things and servicing them we've got one with 1400 hours on it and he's had no issues with about 1400 or 14,000 1400 hours 1409 18 yes okay so these are relatively new to the marketplace the last 8 or 16 links so the first one okay so these are relatively new [Music] [Applause] [Music] they've been in the United States since 2016 I think it's 60 and 60 or 70 sent to one of those okay what do we like that's the site class for the antifreeze antifreeze okay just one in that bottom sightglass the other one is your college oh yeah so when it's warmer and you get your expansion through your drug it'll come up into that class cooler splay open so it's pretty easy to pick you down and keep your coolers clean there's a hydraulic fans that you debris out of it all LED lighting we'll just blowed out the things blown off yeah but do you want to keep all it's all LED lighting which gives you Tim's very serious is a good visibility and does that rear view camera most compact loaders rearview cameras standard future that's the air conditioning unit they're often I'll away where it can keep nice and going to keep it nice and that's the air conditioning unit condenser for their record sitting inside in a box so you plug it in then we're looking in it's just got a cord you plug it right into standard extension nice you race tracks on the outside of the machine the throw your lubrication points guys this is called the race track this will tell you how many hours ten fifty to tell you how many hours to do each each one of the different services on your machine so if you're ever wondering you can just go there all the hinges got AgResearch on up to all the hinges yeah the hinges are inches whose indices everything is got grease on it rear view camera and then all of your joystick controls their operates the same as any other we let me throw a couple hundred pounds that's kind of nice I like just them just those little things that actually work they don't cost enough little egg to near huge bunch up up there and fill me the info just with small guy pop up okay so in the cab general function you have shift lever or in Reverse right here first and second gear you can also run to speed only this you can also run forward and reverse here on the switch on the on the joystick forward and reverse you can it's electronic so won't just throw into reverse while you're going for anything correct okay the lower two buttons here are for your quick attach on the bucket you have to disengage your or unlock your quick attach here and these activate the hydraulics which will come in and release the bucket and go back out the lock at that time there's a downshift in the first gear on the on the front of that joystick as well makes it really nice you can open the whole board or you can actually slide the top window down by grabbing these do all these models come with the beacon it's got I do believe that that's standard on the unit there's a hazard switch here for your lights this is your third function hydraulics I don't know if you mentioned that they're down on the boom they come without fittings so that you can put whatever type fittings you want to that will match up with your attachment this is the lock and unlock your hydraulics this is kind of a nice feature because what this gets used for if you're gonna roll the machine you can lift the bucket up off the ground and engage this button and it will lock the hydraulics so you have no lock or no hydraulic control as far as the boomin armored concern the reason you'd like that's nice is because if you're riding down you know rolling a machine out on a city street or something you hit a big bump you don't if you do bump your handle here that won't drop your bucket down no so it locks your hydraulics so that they're unusable you can raise it up and do that it's fine all your heating controls are back here this is a this is newer from what was out in the first models they just had one switch and it was hot and was hot all the time so you got air conditioning temperature control for hot and cold fan speed and then back here you can choose just like in your car whether you're using internal error external air 15 radio comes standard in this unit back up camera we have controls I don't know if you'll be able to see them they're back up underneath here that controls your your lights front and back it also controls your wiper pull from the front rear window along with the washer for the front and rear window and your beacon is up here this does come on the fancy little sunshade that's working in the Sun some people look at that and say well that's useless but you'd be surprised at how many people actually oh they'll use it I mean I've been in it enough times to know that that's kind of those little tiny little things that don't cost a ton Oh awesome well they're nice little amenities that people actually enjoy so so this is pretty much almost like perfectly set up for snow plowing absolutely hey what has the what how is this machine bent SPECT for snow plowing that may be a standard machine would not have is there any upgrades or any features that are besides the plot of the block heater which is that standard cut yes it does come stand over the block heater on it they're cheap enough that they just put them on along with the third function hydraulics comes standard one thing that's nice about that is a lot of guys use a broom for snow plowing for sweeping sidewalks and stuff which is nice because you can hook a broom up to the machine yeah other guys use standard they'll take the bucket off and use standard plow units like what comes off a truck frankly and you can control right to left with that with that third function with this right here can love this one of the things that I need to point out is that loader costs just about as much is a nicely decked out skid steer but for snow removal I can charge almost twice as much per hour for that same machine and that machine although it's only 74 horsepower can handle a bigger attachment can actually get more done so I'm paying the same price down I'm getting paid almost twice as much per hour or the machine itself and am accomplishing more snow removal great and oh great much work altogether yeah yeah and because you're offering the loader the tight terms correctly the take skinny turn parking lot you don't need a zero Kirk okay compact wheel loader is a better solution than a skid steer just as far as trouble maintenance standpoint inspires longevity tire wear fuel economy all those different yeah because this machine will actually probably get better fuel economy then your skid steers you will use during plowing because you're not always having it cranked wide open all right let's put this to work and a cigarette lighter yeah that's probably illegal nowadays man it's probably illegal in California [Music] can you guys sell them in California that weird Tim use that joke earlier tim is he's a he's in the green industry likes to recycle things like grass too much am I now this thing would be great through pavement holy crap let's go cruisin [Music] let's go cruising for snow all right it's only got two speeds which I don't care I got a low range in the high range [Music] so I've been running her according to the clock three hours already and I'm still on a full tank of fuel try doing that with a payloader I mean a big one run it for three hours and see if she's still on a ball well I guess it's put it on the side of the building right you guys think we can just think we can squeeze in that way thank you guys plenty of room get this up I can fit a semi in sideways [Music] years ago I tell ya I would if I was like there the multiple brandy yes the LG was around years ago but it was s the LG what more do I need to say SDL G is 10 years ago it's not the STL G five years ago so the true speed I think you guys can pick it up right here this is where you shift an upshift I could be doing it right here off the stick right here but I am literally sambal tool that this is more comfortable to be it's just what I'm used to my old farm tractors that's the way they worked they broke don't fix it boys this pile of it right so we're gonna downshift site next to that context the name okay so when the hydraulics if the hydraulics do run slow that's when I pop it in the new trunk and then put all that power to the hydraulics but manually putting the extra power to the hydraulics whoopty do whoopty flippin do anybody that complains doesn't know how to run [Music] you pay the bill you know what I'm talking we're gonna go I'm heading up a hill it's not a big hill but I am heading up a hill and I'm noticing that she is slowing down in second gear with all the pedal to the metal she's just slowing down the top-end really is not that tapash but you know what hey you're gonna be so you gonna sacrifice things when you paid $30,000 less or almost 50% less for a payloader there may be a few things that don't quite it's hit on the same markets the high-end units I am going to say one thing though that backup camera sweet I actually like that all right you guys instead of just talking about it let's go over to the next site and take a look at some of the payloads that this little baby will be working right alongside [Music] don't pay top dollar for a piece of equipment to then put it in a highly corrosive environment snow plowing is one of them farm work is another one demolition is hard on equipment and I've gotten some feedback from guys they know no it's not really hard on equipment let's take a look at this brand let's go inside the cab of this thing and take a look around you can see that this pay loader has already got salt corroded I mean we've got rust…
