How to clean your landings and your carpet stair treads. Sometimes accidents happen and you need to spot clean. So, grab a couple of rags, a warm bowl of soapy water. It could be Dawn. And then regular water. You simply dip your rag. Take the good soapy water. Press down on the rug. Do not scrub because that'll make the fibers fuzzy and it'll be a different texture. So, press down with the warm soapy water. Then you can take the other end of your rag, dip it into the clean water, press this down. Keep doing that a couple of times. And in the middle of it, take your dry rag to soak up some of the moisture and remove some of the stain. And you just keep repeating. And that's how you spot clean.
