After priming is complete, switch the prime valve to the 'up' (spray) position. While holding the spray gun, trigger it into the discard bucket. You'll first see any remaining water or protective fluid, followed by paint. Once paint starts flowing consistently, release the trigger. Allow any paint in the spray gun and hose to flow back into the paint supply bucket to avoid waste. Continue running the sprayer for 10-20 seconds with the gun open, directing the flow back into the paint bucket, to ensure all air is out of the spray line. Then, release the trigger and place the gun down.

Goal: Fill the spray gun and hose with paint, removing any remaining air.
