Remove Bathtub Drain Components

What happens here

Using a multi-bit screwdriver, carefully remove the screws securing the overflow plate located on the side of the bathtub. The presenter's overflow plate has two screws. Once the screws are removed, gently pull the overflow plate away from the tub wall. If your bathtub has a main drain stopper that is easily removable, take it out at this stage to maximize access. The video's presenter notes his main drain stopper is not easily removable, so he proceeds using the overflow opening.

Goal: Prepare the bathtub drain for snaking by removing the overflow plate and, if accessible, the main drain stopper. This provides direct access to the drainpipe.
