Apply First Stain Coat to Driveway Sections

What happens here

Begin applying the first coat of the oil-based concrete stain to the driveway. This is best done with two people: one responsible for 'cutting in' the edges and intricate areas near the garage door, walls, or landscaping using a smaller 9-inch roller or brush, and another person following closely behind to roll the main, open areas. Utilize an 18-inch roller bucket for efficiency with the larger roller. Work in manageable sections or 'squares' to maintain a wet edge and ensure even coverage. Critically, ensure to stain any concrete edges that extend below the dirt line to provide a complete and finished look. Wear gloves to protect your hands from the stain.
