How to paint behind a toilet. Paint Behind A TV.

This is Chris, the Idaho painter on home improvement how-tos. In this video, I'm going to show you how we paint behind a toilet. Been asked this question quite a few times. So, I'm going to show you the simple process and the simple tool you need to paint behind this thing. And first off, we got it masked out here so we don't get any drips on the floor. I'm just going to remove the top of the toilet right here. And that exposes the back of it. And all you got to do is have what we call a wing nap and a wire roller. This thing is a small skinny roller. and it fits behind the toilet and you can get them in different lengths if you have to reach a long excessive amount of distance. But this right here, this is the size that will reach behind this toilet. All I use is my cutting bucket. It's got my cutting bucket, two gallon bucket of paint with a one one gallon wire grid in it. And then I'll just begin painting behind the toilet just like this. [Music] This little simple little tool makes this job really easy. Can reach back there as far as I need to with this thing. Just going to keep reloading up my roller. When I'm done rolling behind the toilet, I'll finish all my cutins right here. I'll look down here to make sure I'm getting it down far enough. This thing will reach down the backside. Also, it's quite the handy little tool, this little thing. It's only about $5 for the frame and a couple dollars for this is a mohare uh nap on here. Now I'll let that dry and then I'll put on one more coat So, I got my cutting bucket right here, my 4-in roller, and then I got my 3in angled sash brush that I'll be finishing my cut ends with. But once again, we'll let that dry, put a second coat on there, and then it'll be done. That's the simple process of getting back behind tight spaces like a toilet.
