How to spray a front door. Painting a door with an airless paint sprayer.
What happens here
After painting the edges, proceed to spray the main face of the door. The presenter demonstrates spraying in horizontal passes from one side of the door to the other. It's crucial to start spraying before reaching the edge of the door and release the trigger only after passing the opposite edge. This prevents paint from 'spitting' in the middle of the door, which can create imperfections. Ensure each pass overlaps the previous one by about 50% for uniform coverage. Carefully check the recessed panels and the areas around the masked handle and deadbolt to ensure they are fully covered.
Goal: Apply a smooth, even coat of paint to the main surface of the door.
