How to spray a front door. Painting a door with an airless paint sprayer.

What happens here

Begin by properly setting up the front door for spraying. This involves placing the door on two 5-gallon buckets, ensuring stability and elevation. Place two cardboard shields on top of the 5-gallon buckets to prevent scratching the back of the door. Use masking tape to mask around the perimeter of the door, as well as the handle and deadbolt hardware, to protect them from overspray. Lightly sand the entire door surface to ensure proper paint adhesion. Lay down a drop cloth or plastic sheeting around the door setup to protect the grass or surrounding area from overspray. Prepare the Graco 440 paint sprayer with a Graco RACK X 310 tip and attach a 6-inch extension to the spray gun for better reach and control.

Goal: Prepare the door and spray painting equipment for painting
