How To Properly Clean or Repair A Paint Sprayer. Titan Spray Painting.

What happens here

Once paint has been purged, move the paint gun's output to a dedicated 'dirty' bucket. Engage the sprayer's 'clean setting', if available (on a Titan 440i, this causes the pump to cycle up and down, pulsating the water for faster cleaning). Continue to run water through the system until the water coming out of the gun appears mostly clear.

Goal: Switch the output of the paint gun to a 'dirty' bucket and run clean water through the system, utilizing the sprayer's clean setting for more efficient cleaning.

Okay, now I've seen the water start to come through the line. Now I'm going to switch it over. This is going to be my dirty bucket right here. Now I'm just going to start running it out. And a lot of sprayers actually have a clean setting on the sprayer and you turn it to that clean setting and it actually cycles the the pump up and down and it pulsates the water and it actually cleans it faster. So I'm going to set this one over to the clean setting. You'll hear the difference. Now I'll run it to clean. So you can hear it cycle up and down. That makes it clean a lot faster. So, I'm just going to keep running this here for about 30 seconds.
