What happens here

Choose a flat paint product for acoustic ceilings, as recommended by the video. The example given is Sherwin Williams' Eminence or Brilliance, which provides a natural look. Flat paint is preferred over semi-gloss or satin finishes because the latter can be harder to cover and slower to dry on textured ceilings. For spraying, an airless sprayer with a specific tip, like a Graco Rack 515, is used. Crucially, a brand new tip should be used to minimize fallout and overspray, which helps prevent over-saturating the delicate acoustic texture and causing it to loosen. Don appropriate personal protective equipment, such as a respirator mask and safety glasses.
