How To Make Tomato Juice At Home | Easy Canning And Preserving Recipe

What happens here

Once the tomatoes have cooked down to a soup-like consistency, transfer them into a food mill. Position the food mill over a clean pot placed in your kitchen sink. Crank the handle of the food mill back and forth to process the tomatoes, separating the juice and pulp from the bitter seeds and skins. Continue cranking until all the liquid is extracted. Discard the remaining skins and seeds (which can be composted or fed to chickens). Repeat this process with all remaining cooked tomatoes.

Goal: Separate tomato juice/pulp from seeds and skins.
