Cut and Remove Old Valve

What happens here

To prevent debris from entering the pipe, stuff a paper towel or rag into the open end of the copper pipe after draining. Then, use a mini hacksaw to cut the existing copper pipe just below the old compression angle stop valve. Once cut, remove the old valve. The cut needs to be clean and straight for the new fittings.

Goal: Remove the existing valve and prepare the pipe for new connections.
