How to Hatch Eggs with an Incubator | Everything you need to know for success!

What happens here

Once chicks begin hatching (typically Day 21), ensure they are fully 'fuzzed out' (dry and fluffy) in the incubator before moving them. When ready, carefully remove the hatched chicks and any empty eggshells from the incubator. Place the chicks into a clean pot or container for temporary holding before transferring them to the brooder. Do not discard eggshells; they can be crushed and reused as a calcium supplement.

Goal: Safely transfer hatched chicks to a temporary holding area.
