Prepare Drywall and Spackle Medium Holes

What happens here

Locate the medium-sized hole that needs patching. Before applying spackle, ensure the edges of the hole are flat and pushed into the wall. Use the back part of a flexible spackle knife to gently tap in any protruding drywall edges, creating a flush surface. Once the hole is prepared, scoop some Sherwin Williams interior/exterior spackling compound onto one of your spackle knives. Press the spackle firmly into the hole, ensuring it is completely filled. Then, use the wider spackle knife to scrape across the filled area, leveling and smoothing the spackle until it is flush with the surrounding wall surface. Make sure the patched area is as smooth and level as possible.
