Patch and Clean Small Nail Holes

What happens here

For smaller holes, such as those left by nails, the process is slightly simpler. First, remove any nails or debris from the hole. Apply just a small dab of Sherwin Williams interior/exterior spackling compound directly into the hole using your finger. Gently press the spackle into the hole. Immediately wipe off any excess spackle with your finger, or for a cleaner finish, use a damp wet tile sponge to wipe the area smooth, removing any residue and blending the patch with the wall. Alternatively, a flexible spackle knife can be used to apply a small amount of spackle and scrape it flush, followed by wiping with the wet tile sponge for a clean blend.
