Install New ABS Tee Fitting

What happens here

Apply ABS primer (such as Megaloc primer) to the outside of the wall drain pipe and the inside of the new ABS Tee fitting. Then, apply a generous, even coat of Oatey Medium Black ABS Cement to both the primed surfaces. Immediately slide the Tee fitting onto the wall pipe, twisting it slightly to ensure proper distribution of cement and a strong bond. Hold it firmly in place for a few seconds to allow the cement to set. Orient the Tee fitting so one opening faces the sink for the P-trap connection, and the other (bottom) opening is accessible for a cleanout cap. Once installed, apply thread sealant (pipe dope) to the threads of a cleanout cap and securely screw it into the bottom opening of the Tee, tightening it with Channellock pliers.

Goal: Securely install a new ABS Tee fitting into the wall drain pipe, ensuring it's properly primed, cemented, and sealed.
