How to can tomatoes..fun and easy

What happens here

Fill a large canning pot with water and place clean canning jars and metal rings into it. Bring the water to a rolling boil for at least 10 minutes to sterilize them. For the lids, place them in a separate pot and bring the water to a temperature between 150-180°F (65-82°C) and hold them there for 5 minutes. This warms the sealing compound and ensures a proper seal. After sterilization, carefully remove the jars using a jar lifter and place them upside down on a clean towel to drain and air dry until ready to be filled.

Goal: Prepare canning jars and rings by sterilizing them in boiling water to ensure food safety.
