How to can tomatoes..fun and easy

What happens here

Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Carefully lower a batch of tomatoes into the boiling water for approximately 30-60 seconds, or until the skins begin to split. The ideal blanching water temperature should be between 150-190°F (65-88°C). Immediately transfer the blanched tomatoes to an ice bath to stop the cooking process and cool them down, making the skins easier to peel. Once cooled, use a paring knife to remove the loosened skins and core the tomatoes, removing the stem end and any hard white parts. Discard any remaining damaged sections.

Goal: Blanch the selected tomatoes in hot water to easily remove their skins, then core them using a paring knife.
