Prepare Sterilized Jars for Filling

What happens here

Using canning tongs, carefully lift each hot, sterilized jar out of the boiling water. Tip the jar to pour out any remaining hot water. Place the empty, hot jar on a clean surface, like a metal countertop, to cool slightly. Repeat this process until all jars intended for the current batch are removed and ready.
