How to buy a good used farm tractor. Great Information, tips and money saving advice! Buyer Beware!

What happens here

After letting the tractor warm up, perform the shutdown procedure: turn off the key and pull the kill switch. A healthy engine should stop immediately without sputtering or kicking. If it struggles to shut off, there's a problem with the fuel system or engine. Then, open the hood and inspect the radiator for leaks, dents, or discolored coolant. The coolant should be clean and green. Also, check the air filter box for cleanliness and any signs of rodent nests, as a neglected air filter indicates poor overall maintenance.

Goal: Properly shut down the tractor and inspect the cooling and air intake systems
