Collect Sap Using an Extractor System

What happens here

Once taps are installed and lines are connected, sap flows down the main lines to the sugar house. There, it enters an 'extractor' machine, which maintains a vacuum on the lines. This vacuum system draws sap from the trees more effectively, improving yield. The extractor separates the sap from any air in the lines before releasing the sap into large collection tanks. The video shows sap being released from the extractor into a large 5,000-gallon collection tank.

Goal: Efficiently gather large quantities of maple sap from the forest into storage tanks.
