How NOT to install Metal Siding- PRO Tips & Everything you need to know from start to finish pt2 4 k
What happens here
Before installing the metal siding panels, measure and cut any necessary starter strips or J-channels. Securely attach these trim pieces around the perimeter of the building and around any openings (windows, doors) where vertical panels will terminate or begin. Use a level, such as a Milwaukee Level, to ensure all trim pieces are perfectly plumb or level, as this will dictate the alignment of the subsequent siding panels.
Goal: Establish straight and plumb starting points for siding and openings.
