What happens here

Custom metal trim pieces are essential for a clean, weather-tight finish around windows, doors, and building corners. To create these, measure the required dimensions for each trim piece. Using tin snips, make initial cuts into the flat metal sheet. Then, carefully bend the metal to form the desired angle and shape. For corner pieces, a folding technique is shown, where a relief cut is made, and the metal is bent to create a neat corner. For flexible J-channels, bend them to match curved openings, such as an arched garage door.

Goal: Create custom metal trim pieces for openings and corners.
