Installing Drip Apron and Felt Underlayment

What happens here

Install a drip apron along the edges of the roof deck. This metal flashing directs water away from the fascia and siding. Next, roll out and install a felt underlayment (often referred to as tar paper or synthetic underlayment) over the entire roof deck. This layer provides an additional barrier against water intrusion.

Goal: Provide initial weather protection for the roof deck.
